Image Varanasi center participated in a sand modeling workshop conducted in the dazzling shores of Ganga, Varanasi on 19th Jan 2012. The Theme for the sand sculpture was “Corruption, Lokpal bill & Election” .It was conducted by a Non Government Organization to create general awareness among the public relating to issues like Alcoholism, Addiction, Pollution, Corruption, Lokpal bill and the importance of Vote.

 

Using sand as Medium of Art, the participants expressed their anguish depicting various sculptures relating to these issues. It was mesmerizing to see the sculptures each of which narrated a story of its own.

 

The coverage of the event was enormous with all the leading print and local channel covering the event. Both media and public expressed special thanks for the motivational steps taken by the Image-Institute to guide the young generation in the right direction.

Well, there was a bundle of vibrancy with lot of enthusiasm in all the participants. We enjoyed very much... It was fabulous.
