The painting week was celebrated at Image Hyderabad in the November month of 2009 with the students of Ameerpet and Kukatpally centers together. In order to motivate and extract the artistic skills of the students this event has been conducted.

We have given them the space in Visual Design classroom to do the wall paintings. The students have come up with their ideas and shown their creativity in portraying the idea which they had. Each of them took different theme and worked on that. They made the Visual Design room to be more colorful with their beautiful wall paintings. As a part of the “Painting Week” celebrations the students have taken active participation. The week-long celebrations were full of fun. Among the students who participated in this event we had some of them who are professional artists. With the help of the faculty and also with their effort they had made this event to be successful.

Students felt this was a very good experience for them to participate in such kind of events where they got a chance to show their creativity and also the artistic skills they have. Each student has his/her own wall painting but said all together it was a team work.
