Mathrubhumi – IMAGE Animator Hunt 2008     Objective:     “Attract talented youth to digital media industry by conducting a contest/ aptitude test. The nature of the event will be more competitive to make it more appealing for the youth.”            Event: [ 3rd, 10th and 17th May 2008 ]      An aptitude test (two hour) will be conducted to rate the creative thinking skills, drawing skills etc. The test is designed by competent people from the industry. This will be conducted in 20 locations in Kerala – Trivandrum, Neyyatinkara, Adoor, Kollam, Thiruvalla, Pala, Kottayam, Muvatupuzha, Allepey, Aluva, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Irinjalakuda, Kunnamkulam, Manjeri, Kalpetta, Calicut, Vadakara and Kannur              • Materials related to digital media industry will be supplied too all the participants.          • Prizes will be announced before 1st June 2008          • The photo of winners will be published in paper.          • The prizes will be given away in glittering ceremony held at Calicut, Cochin and Trivandrum              respectively.          • The participants can register through online portal of mathrubhumi, mathrubhumi offices across              Kerala and through image offices in Kerala.            PRIZES:     The event will be divided in to 3 zones – North Kerala, Central Kerala and South Kerala. For each Zone prizes will be given as follows. The first prize winner from each zone will be taken for trip to HOLLWOOD, USA.                    • 1st Prize    : Rs.25001/-          • 2nd prize   : Rs.15001/-          • Thrid prize : Rs.5001/-          Score in LEVEL 1 Scholarship( fee waiver given on course fee)          • 80% and above 30%          • 70% and above 20%          • 60% and above 10% The scholarship will be valid only for 30 days. Free booklet to all candidates- “careers in digital media industry” ( malayalam)            Eligibility:            Students who have completed graduation / plus two / VHSE / Diploma (3year) with in last 2 years. Thos are appearing for final exams can also participate. NO need of any computer knowledge.           Current students or alumni of Image will not be eligible for the scholarships.
