The Visual Effects Diploma is a specialized curriculum for producing attention grabbing visual effects for film, television and video. This is design in motion- Students are taught everything from Pre-Visualization, Shooting techniques, Matte painting, Restoration and re-touching, 3D for VFX to production techniques with the industry standard software. The program enables students to attain expertise in creating a seamlessly composited Digital Video from concept to production.

The foundation course in art and design develops the essential skill required for the visual effects program. Students learn the techniques for creating and lighting digital environments. Building on the concepts learnt in the foundation module students create 2D images for use as backgrounds and set extensions. The students learn to combine live and CG imageries using various composing techniques like keying, matting, rotoscoping, tracking, stabilizing, color correction and effects. Topics in match moving and stereoscopy form an essential part of development of portfolio, which empowers towards employment.

Graphic Design is a comprehensive design curriculum for creating effective visual communication. The exhaustive curriculum incorporates visualization, concept development, design techniques and composition through design case studies and hands-on exercises. The module provides specialization in areas such as layout, illustration, Print based graphics and Digital graphics.

3D Design provides a foundation to the understanding of 3D concepts like modeling, texturing, lighting, camera, animation & rendering in a simplified manner. The module is innovative, project focused and encourages teamwork, planning and thoughtful execution of 3D project. The Media Animation project taught in this module serves as a strong foundation for aspiring 3D Modelers, Texture Artists, Visual Effects Artists, Character Animators and prepares them to cope with the Specialization modules to be taught in the later part of the Diploma program.
