How to Apply

Eligibility

Applicants for admission to the B.Sc Multimedia Programme must have passed the higher secondary examination (10+2 )or an examination accepted by the syndicate as equivalent thereto. Those who have passed the three year technical diploma examination are also eligible for admission to the B.Sc. (Multimedia) Programme.

Spot Selection

If you are living near any one of our Image Centres noted in this prospectus, step in for Spot Admission. Selection for direct admission to all the programmes will be made at the Image Centres (except Lateral Entry Programmes) subject to confirmation by the Director.

For Spot Selection, the candidates must bring the following documents in person:

  1. Filled in application along with attested Photo copies of Certificates and for minimum required eligibility qualification and age.
  2. Certificates, in Original, for minimum required eligibility qualification and Transfer/Migration Certificate
  3. Three stamp size Photographs for Identity Card and Scanning Form. Applicants should not sign on the photograph affixed in the scanning form.
  4. A Demand Draft drawn in favour of Image for the prescribed fees .(as per the mode of payment.)

Original Certificates will be returned immediately after verification. The transfer certificate/migration certificate after affixing the seal will also be returned.

Such admissions will be confirmed, if eligible, by the Director and will be cancelled if found not eligible.

The Application Form with Prospectus can be Down Load from www.image edu.in/annamalaiform.or can be obtained in person from the any of IMAGE Centres Application Form are Issued free of Cost at any IMAGE Center.

The Application Form is not transferable and the application for admission should be in the prescribed form of the academic year 2009-2010 and only the form issued by the IMAGE Centres should be used.

Instructions for filling in the Application Form

Read carefully and thoroughly the application form and the Prospectus before filling in.

  1. Check your eligibility i.e. minimum required educational qualification for the programme you are applying for.
  2. While filling in the application form, enter very clearly and correctly the programme code, the name of the programme and elective subjects.
  3. A recent stamp size photograph (3.5 cm x 2.5 cm) signed by the applicant and attested by a Gazetted Officer should be pasted on the application form in the space provided for it.
  4. Attestation: The photograph in the application may be attested by any one of the following officials:
    • Gazetted Officers.
    • Members of the Syndicate, Senate, Academic Council, and Board of Studies of the Annamalai University.
    • Principals, Professors, Readers or Lecturers of Colleges and Universities.
    • Gazetted Rank Headmasters or Headmistresses of Government recognized Higher Secondary or High Schools.
    • Commissioned Officers of the Defense Services.
  5. If the certificates submitted by the applicant are in any language other than English/Tamil, an English version of the certificates should accompany them.
  6. Transfer Certificate
  7. An application will be summarily rejected if there is any discrepancy between the material particulars found in the application form and in the supporting documents. The name of the applicant, date of birth and qualification will be considered as material particulars in this context.

Submission of Application Form

All filled in application forms can be submitted by the candidates along with the photocopies of the relevant certificates at any IMAGE centers.

The candidate should bring the relevant original certificate for verification along with prescribed fees.

After verification of all the required details the application will be forwarded to the University for issues of students ID Number.
